Qualification
Bachelor's Degree (BS/BSc) in Mathematics from HEC recognized University.
Key Responsibilities
To provide high-quality Mathematics instruction to senior section students, enabling them to develop strong mathematical knowledge,
logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for preparing students for board examinations while promoting academic excellence in accordance with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Teach topics including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Statistics, Probability, and Coordinate Geometry as applicable to the grade level.
- Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, worksheets, assignments, and examination papers.
- Assess students through quizzes, class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, assessment results, and progress reports.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, ICT tools, and interactive learning strategies to enhance student understanding.
- Identify students requiring additional academic support and provide remedial instruction.
- Foster logical reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students for board examinations, competitions, and mathematics-related academic activities.
- Communicate students' academic progress and behavioral concerns to parents during meetings and through progress reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school functions, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform examination, invigilation, and other duties assigned by the school administration.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional ethics.
