Senior QA Engineer (AI-Driven Testing & Automation)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience who operates as an AI-native quality professional, not just a traditional tester.

You will test across web, mobile (iOS/Android), APIs, and AI-driven systems. You will use AI tools as a core part of your workflow to design tests faster, improve coverage, detect regressions earlier, and debug complex issues efficiently.

This is a senior, hands-on role where you are expected to take ownership of quality across systems—not just execute test cases.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Manual & Exploratory Testing

• Lead deep manual, exploratory, and regression testing across web, iOS, and Android platforms
• Test on real devices and emulators with a strong focus on edge cases and complex user flows
• Identify functional gaps, usability issues, and system vulnerabilities proactively

API & System-Level Testing

• Design and execute API testing for correctness, performance, error handling, and contract validation
• Validate end-to-end system integrations across services
• Ensure data consistency and reliability across backend workflows

AI & Complex Feature Testing

• Test AI-powered features with non-deterministic outputs using structured evaluation methods
• Assess response quality, accuracy, edge-case handling, and behavioral consistency
• Validate chatbot systems and AI workflows with real-world scenarios

Test Automation & Framework Ownership

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright (AI-assisted workflows encouraged)
• Build scalable test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve test coverage with a risk-based and impact-driven approach
• Mentor junior QA engineers in automation best practices

AI-Driven QA Engineering

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as core engineering assistants
• Generate and refine test cases, test data, and automation scripts using AI
• Apply prompt engineering to convert requirements into structured test strategies
• Utilize AI for log analysis, bug reproduction, and visual regression testing
• Continuously evaluate and introduce new AI QA tools to improve efficiency

Bug Management & Quality Ownership

• Write highly detailed, reproducible, and structured bug reports
• Clearly define severity, impact, steps to reproduce, and environment details
• Drive issue resolution by collaborating closely with engineering teams
• Own quality outcomes for assigned modules or products
