Video Editor - Motion Graphics Designer
About the Role
Reelax Media Limited is seeking a talented and detail-oriented 2D Animator & Motion Graphics Designer with strong expertise in short-form content creation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-retention social media videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, combining editing, animation, and storytelling to maximize audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging short-form videos (Reels/Shorts) using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Develop motion graphics, 2D animations, and visual effects in Adobe After Effects
- Create animated captions, lower-thirds, branded elements, and on-screen graphics
- Enhance videos with dynamic transitions, zoom effects, B-roll integration, and sound design
- Optimize content for audience retention and social media algorithm performance
- Maintain a clean, modern, and consistent visual style aligned with brand identity
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in editing Reels/Shorts content
- Strong command of Adobe After Effects (animation, compositing, motion graphics)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (timeline editing, storytelling flow)
- Experience working with documentary, interview, or talking-head style videos
- Understanding of viral content structure (hooks, pacing, retention techniques)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in business, motivational, or educational content
- Ability to produce clean, fast-turnaround edits
- Strong sense of typography, motion design, and visual storytelling
