Senior Teacher AKUEB

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics and Chemistry Teacher with strong expertise in the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKUEB) curriculum. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, preparing students for board examinations, and fostering analytical and scientific thinking in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics and Chemistry to secondary and higher secondary students according to AKUEB curriculum standards.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and practical lab activities aligned with board requirements.
• Prepare students for AKUEB board examinations through effective teaching strategies and past paper practice.
• Assess and monitor student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports.
• Create an engaging and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Conduct practical experiments while ensuring laboratory safety procedures.
• Integrate modern teaching methodologies and technology into classroom instruction.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school administration regarding student progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and academic planning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in AKUEB curriculum.
• Strong command of Physics and Chemistry concepts.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Experience in board exam preparation and assessment techniques.
• Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and MS Office applications.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students academically.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with inquiry-based and student-centered learning approaches.
• Experience conducting science practicals and lab management.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
