Overview We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and deliver reliable technical support to our team. The ideal candidate will be practical, attentive to detail, and capable of managing diverse IT responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems on desktops, laptops, and servers.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Provide remote assistance to users using tools like AnyDesk or equivalent platforms.
Set up new systems, install necessary applications, and perform upgrades as required.
Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN and devices such as routers and switches.
Implement security protocols, including system updates, patches, and antivirus management.
Perform regular data backups and support recovery processes when needed.
Assist with email systems, cloud-based services, and office productivity software.
Maintain records of IT assets, track support tickets, and prepare system performance reports.
Collaborate with team members to enhance IT processes and minimize downtime.
Train employees on proper system usage and basic IT best practices.
Keep up with new technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or system administration roles.
Solid understanding of Windows environments and troubleshooting methods.
Familiarity with remote support tools such as AnyDesk or similar solutions.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routers, and switches.
Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including updates and antivirus tools.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle both hardware and software issues.
Self-driven with good analytical thinking abilities.
Effective communication skills, especially when dealing with non-technical staff.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
