NOC Engineer

Role Summary The ideal candidate will support the Operations and Maintenance of Digital and Messaging Solutions, including fault management and first-line maintenance (FLM) support for clients and internal stakeholders. The role involves monitoring network performance, ensuring service level targets, and performing proactive system checks. Duties And Responsibilities The candidate will be mainly looking after Operations and Maintenance, Fault Management of Digital & Messaging Solution Will be responsible to extend FLM (first line of maintenance) support to commercial clients and internal stake holders Monitoring and escalation of network elements, faults, network services and live traffic Perform proactive network element status and health checks as part of normal surveillance activities Work to ensure Service Level goals for alarms, tickets, calls and emails are met Management reporting as per requirement Maintain a good understanding of all NOC processes and implement them appropriately Should comply with all the departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during the execution of tasks Good working knowledge of VAS A2P Messaging platforms with clear understanding of end-to-end call flows. Good working knowledge of IP and Signaling Protocol of SMPP, TCP/IP and API working with REST, SOAP APIs. Work experience with monitoring tool like Grafana and Zabbix Basic knowledge of Linux & Databases Job Specifications B.E (Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Communication/Telecom) 1-2 years of experience Good written and verbal communication skills to communicate with clients and stakeholders Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks Problem solving with positive mind set Drive for results and continuously evolve with good analytical approach Should be able to promote the department and technology portfolio with professionalism Location Corporate Office, I-9/3, Islamabad No. of position: 1
