Safely provide immunization to infants, children, and adults according to formal protocols and schedule
Make sure the availability of adequate quantities of vaccines through record keeping and timely submission of request
Maintain the cold chain for the vaccines
He/She will be responsible for monitoring the quantity and expiry dates of all vaccines
Inform the Supervisor to reorder the vaccine supplies at least 02 weeks in advance
He/She will be responsible to prepare microplans in coordination with District EPI and District Coordinator
He will be responsible for pick and drop of vaccines from and to the designated health facilities on daily basis
He/She will be responsible for provision of EPI services through outreach camps
He/She will be responsible for the correct use and care of all the electronic equipment (Android phone, laptop, tabs)/medical supplies used by the team in the program
Administer the correct vaccines with the correct dosage to children according to EPI protocols
Follow strict infection control measures and ensure infection control measures been followed by the vaccination program team
Maintain a stock register of vaccines and ensure the daily register and permanent register of the EPI program are been maintained properly
Collect the program data on given templates
Make phone calls to children’s parents/caregivers for follow-up visits
Troubleshoot and support all areas of programmatic work as required
Any other task requested by the supervisor
