Job Description

Job Summary:

The Cashier Cum Admin is responsible for handling daily cash transactions, maintaining financial records, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The role requires accuracy in cash handling, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain proper documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:Cash Handling & Financial Management

Receive and record cash payments from customers/students.

Issue payment receipts and maintain accurate transaction records.

Verify cash collections and reconcile daily cash balances.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.

Deposit cash into designated bank accounts as instructed.

Maintain petty cash records and expense documentation.

Assist in preparing financial reports and payment summaries.

Administrative Duties

Manage office records, files, and documentation.

Maintain employee attendance records and administrative registers.

Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.

Coordinate with different departments regarding administrative matters.

Ensure proper maintenance of office supplies and inventory.

Prepare reports, letters, and official documents as required.

Maintain confidentiality of company and employee records.

Record Keeping & Compliance

Maintain accurate records of receipts, vouchers, and invoices.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Organize and archive physical and digital documents.

Support audits by providing required records and documentation.

Customer Service

Assist visitors, students, and clients regarding payments and administrative inquiries.

Resolve routine payment-related issues professionally.

Provide excellent customer service while handling front-desk responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

Intermediate, Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Previous experience as a Cashier, Admin Officer, or similar role is an advantage.

Required Skills:

Strong cash handling and numerical skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Google Sheets.

Good record-keeping and documentation skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy of cash transactions and reconciliations.

Timely preparation of reports and documentation.

Proper maintenance of administrative records.

Compliance with financial and administrative procedures.

Customer satisfaction and service quality.
