AC Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled AC Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure all cooling systems operate safely and efficiently. � Bureau of Labor Statistics +1 Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Split, Cassette, Package, Floor Standing, and Central AC systems. Diagnose and repair faults in compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, motors, electrical controls, and refrigerant systems. Install, dismantle, and commission air conditioning units. Clean AC filters, coils, ducts, and drainage systems to improve performance. Check refrigerant gas levels and perform gas charging/recovery when required. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and minimize equipment downtime. Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and spare parts records. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company maintenance standards. Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and equipment servicing when required. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Requirements DAE/Technical Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC, Mechanical, or a related field. 2–4 years of hands-on experience in AC/HVAC maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical components of HVAC systems. Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot equipment independently. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
