Merchandising Officer

Job Overview

Our client, a well-established organization in the tableware and glass manufacturing sector, is looking for a Merchandising Officer to support end-to-end merchandising operations. The role involves order coordination, client handling, and strong exposure to retail and visual merchandising to ensure effective product presentation and market alignment across local and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage merchandising activities from order booking to final delivery.
• Coordinate with local and international buyers on product specifications, timelines, and updates.
• Support product development, sampling, approvals, and pricing coordination.
• Work closely with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
• Monitor production schedules and resolve order-related issues proactively.
• Assist in retail merchandising and visual display planning to enhance product presentation.
• Ensure alignment of product displays with brand guidelines and market trends.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare merchandising reports and documentation.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with internal teams and clients to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in tableware, glassware, retail, or home décor industry.
• Must have knowledge of retail merchandising and visual merchandising practices.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and client handling abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
