Key Responsibilities

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate, and effective mathematics instruction to Grade 2 students.

The teacher will create a positive learning environment that develops students' numeracy skills, logical thinking,
Problem-solving abilities, and confidence in mathematics while supporting their overall academic and personal growth.
Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons according to the school curriculum.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
Develop students' understanding of basic mathematical concepts and operations.
Encourage critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Utilize educational resources and technology to enhance learning.
Assess and monitor student progress regularly.
Prepare and evaluate classwork, homework, quizzes, and assessments.
Maintain accurate academic records and progress reports.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain a safe, positive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Establish classroom rules and routines that support effective learning.
Promote respect, cooperation, and positive behavior among students.

Experience Required

Essential

01 Year relevant experience.

Desirable

03 Year relevant experience.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from HEC recognized University.
