Key Responsibilities

The Bus Conductor/Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of students, faculty, staff, and official guests. The incumbent shall operate and maintain the assigned university vehicle, ensure compliance with traffic regulations, maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness, and perform official transportation duties as assigned by the university administration. The position requires a valid driving license, adherence to safety standards, and courteous conduct at all times.

1. Safely drive and operate the assigned university bus/vehicle in accordance with traffic laws and university regulations.

2 Transport students, faculty, staff, and official guests to designated destinations in a safe and timely manner.

3. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any mechanical defects or maintenance requirements.

4. Maintain cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle.

5. Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures during transportation activities.

6. Assist in loading and unloading official materials, equipment, or luggage when required.

7 Respond appropriately to emergencies, accidents, or vehicle breakdowns and immediately inform the concerned authorities.

8. Perform any other transportation-related duties assigned by the University Administration from time to time.

2-3 years of relevant driving experience
