Key Responsibilities

To provide preventive, diagnostic and therapeutic dental care services to maintain and improve the oral health and well-being of patients.

To Perform dental procedure, including restorations, extractions, and minor oral surgeries.

To manage dental emergencies and provide timely treatment.

To ensure compliance with professional, ethical and infection control standards.

To Provide primary Dental care including consultation, Fillings, Scaling. Root Canal, extractions and Orthodontics consultations/ treatment.

Diagnose dental, oral and maxillofacial conditions and disease.

Conduct minor oral surgical procedure within the scope of practice.

Prescribe medications related to dental treatment when indicated.

Provide preventive dental care and oral hygiene education to patients.

interpret dental radiographs and other diagnostic investigations.

Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization protocols.

Ensure proper maintenance and safe use of dental equipment and instruments.

Any other duty assigned by OIC NUST Medical Centre

1 Year House Job and 4 Years PG Training preferably in Orthodontics completed
