Key Responsibilities

To ensure the safety and security of the institution's premises, staff, students, visitors, and assets by maintaining vigilance, controlling access and safeguarding property during assigned duty hours.

• Guard the premises and prevent unauthorized entry.

• Open and close gates/buildings as per institutional timings.

• Check the identity of visitors and maintain visitor records where required.

• Patrol the premises regularly to detect security risks or suspicious activities.

• Report theft, damage, fire hazards, or any unusual incidents immediately to the supervisor.

• Ensure doors, windows, and gates are properly locked after working hours.

• Assist during emergencies such as fire, evacuation, or natural disasters.

• Maintain cleanliness and security of the guard post.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Administration.
