Accounts Officer – Sales Invoicing

Key Responsibilities

Generate and post sales invoices in ERP/accounting system

Ensure invoices are accurate (rates, quantities, taxes, discounts)

Coordinate with sales team for order verification

Maintain proper invoice records and documentation

Handle credit notes, debit notes, and adjustments

Reconcile sales data with accounts and inventory

Ensure compliance with sales tax and invoicing regulations

Follow up on pending or disputed invoices

Assist in monthly closing and reporting

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field

2–4 years of experience in invoicing / accounts receivable

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Strong Excel skills

Good understanding of sales tax and documentation

High attention to detail (no room for careless errors)
